ABOUT LIBRARY: The School of Pharmacy has an excellent library and information centre, which acts as a primary source for information seekers, be it students and faculty. The library has been carefully designed to maximize natural lightning to the users and provide a comfortable seating and reading environment. The library provides a peaceful, serene, and conducive environment for students and faculty members to access a huge variety of learning resources throughout the year.

            The library is well stocked with 4240 Books, 1257 Title including 3937 textbooks, 303 reference books, 18 International journals and 37 National journals, 137 EBSCO e-books & 11 CBS e-books, 83 EBSCO e-journals. The library provides facilities for circulation, reference and online database access. It also offers a quiet and comfortable environment for study and academic work.

The library is well equipped with Wi-Fi and remote access facilities for accessing Turnitin (Plagiarism checker), EBSCO host eBooks and e-journals (Medline Collection) subscribed by the central library for all school libraries under Al-Karim University. Computers are available in the library for accessing these subscribed e-resources for students and faculties. The library uses ANGLO-AMERICA CATALOGUING RULES (AACR2) for cataloguing and Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) for classification and also run with KOHA Library automation software.

To ensure the security of documents and resources, IP- based CCTV cameras have been installed all over the Library.

ABOUT LIBRARIAN: Md. Tarique Anwar is as Librarian School of Pharmacy. He has more than 15 years’ experience as a Library Professional in some of the reputed institution of India. He has done Master degree in Library and Information Science from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi besides Graduation in Botany. He has participated and organized various International and National Seminars, Conferences and Workshops. He has written and contributed in a number of publication on various issues related to library science such as on Digital Library, Role of ICT, and Knowledge Management System etc.
